Our findings show that deprived girls are also dropping from schools due to lack of needy Educational Material. Poverty stricken Parents are not affording to provide needy educational material to their girls. Government is providing Text Books and Note Books Only. They are in need of School bag, Geometric box, Slate, Scale, Writing pad, Pens, Pencils, Sharpeners, and Erasers etc. Hence, there is a need of distribution of educational Material kit to deprived girls to study on par with other students.

The right to education is of vital importance. Education is the key to a good start in life. Disadvantaged Children/Students with Special Needs often forced to miss school and they gradually drop out. Focus has therefore shifted from equal access to equal participation in basic education and equal opportunities to complete schooling. But unfortunately, in our working area, literacy rate among Disadvantaged Children/Students with Special Needs is very low. Many of them are dropping from schools and never enrolled due to lack of educational material and uniforms. Hence, we would like to provide educational material support to Disadvantaged Children/Students with Special Needs to enable them to continue their education and study well. Government is providing Text Books and Note Books Only. Donate for Mid Day Meal Program to Destitute Old Age Persons

In our area, many destitute old age persons are starving during day time, while their poor family members are away for labour work and there is no one to feed them. Their family members provide some food only in the morning and night, when they were in the home. Hence, providing mid meal is very much essential. We have identified more than 50 such destitute old age persons and each person requires Rs. 80 per day to feed nutritious food at mid day.

Donate for Night Meal Program to Vulnerable Homeless Peoples

In our area, many vulnerable homeless people are in hungry sleep on road side footpaths, bus stands, railway stations, under bridges etc. They managed to get some food at day time, but starving at nights. Therefore, it is very much necessary to provide night meal to such vulnerable homeless people. We have identified more than 50 such vulnerable homeless people and each person requires Rs. 80 per day to feed nutritious food at night.

Many Destitute Old Age Persons are almost half naked with torn cloths. Donate for Transforming Society that does not require Old Age Homes

It is shameful to have old age homes in our society, which had great legacy and culture. Our society respects Old age persons, but due to various reasons old age persons lost their traditional leadership and respect. Many older persons are to abandon their family home; some of them have also been “pushed out” and have thus been left shelter-less. The changed social scenario and attitude of Younger Generations created many problems to the Aged. The sons and relatives of the Aged are Neglecting and Humiliating. Some of the Aged People are starving and begging in the Streets, Bus-Stands, Railway Stations, Market Places, etc. Few Old Age Homes are providing food & shelter to such vulnerable. We have to transform the society that does not require old age homes and all old age persons shall be with their kith and kin. We have to enlighten and motivate the Younger Generations towards care and respect of old age persons. We also need to educate them on laws, rights and entitlements of senior citizens. We planned to conduct Attitude, Behavioral Change Meetings among Younger Generations to change their mind set positively towards old age persons.

Donate for Cycle Distribution to Schooling Adolescent Girls

Our findings show that girls are dropping from schools due to lack of safe transportation facilities and exposure to sexual abuse while going to school and coming back to home. Now, some girls are travelling 3-5 KMs on autos and buses from home to school and back to home. While travelling on buses and autos, they are facing physical and psychological abuse from their male counterparts. Hence, Bicycles need to be provided to ensure safe transportation for going to schools and coming back to homes.

Hence, we propose to impart skill training in fashion designing. After Training, they will be escorted to purchase sewing machines and start working as self employed.
